Shipping Information 

General Shipping Information:
TheHelmetCenter.com offers free shipping on any items over $99. This is for standard residential ground service. If you need expedited shipping, please select the FedEx Express Saver for quicker service, or call us at 1-866-NEW-HELMET if you need overnight or 2-day service, and we will see if it is possible on the item you need. The customer is responsible for all express shipping costs. Our offers of free ground shipping are within the lower 48 states only, and do not cover Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO, PO Boxes, or Canadian territories. All funds are in U.S. dollars.

TheHelmetCenter.com has relationships with several of our larger distributors who will drop ship items for us when they are ordered. Drop shipping is when a distributor ships an item directly to you, instead of to us, then to you. This means quicker shipping times for most of our customers at considerably lower prices. Not all items are available for drop-shipping.

Most items are generally available to be shipped to you within 1-4 business days, though most are within 24 hours (M-F). We ship to the lower 48, Hawaii, Alaska and Canada. Orders to Canada will be shipped USPS, and can take 1-3 weeks depending on the items, and the address shipped to.

If you are requesting a shipment to a shipping address different from your billing address, there is a $200 limit on the order. If you need something more expensive than $200 sent to another address, we will send it to the nearest FedEx facility, where you can pick it up with a valid US ID, or you can call us at 1-866-NEW-HELMET from the phone number listed with your credit card company, so we can verify your identity. This helps us reduce fraudulant orders, that raise the prices for everyone. We do NOT ship to virtual offices, or empty houses or apartments. Every item we ship will require a direct signature, if sent to a different address.

At any time, you can login to your account at TheHelmetCenter.com to check your order status, shipping status and obtain a tracking number. Additionally, you will receive email updates as your item moves through our system. Most of our normal shipments are shipped via FEDEX, or UPS. We can ship to a P.O. Box, an F.P.O. or an A.P.O. address through the USPS, which needs to be done over the phone with a customer service representative. Once you receive your item, you have taken ownership of it - also known as passage of title.

 

Returns & Exchanges

Satisfaction:
Before opening The Helmet Center, we too purchased a lot of our motorcycle gear and apparel online. We know what kind of hassle it can be to exchange an item that doesn't fit, or one you've decided just doesn't fill the needs you expected it to. We realized that to build strong relationships with our customers, we needed to have a quick and easy return policy, and stand by what we sell in the event of a product failure. Customer satisfaction is our goal, and we will strive to meet that goal with every sale. So here are our simple guidelines for returns and exchanges. Any returned or exchanged items that do not follow these rules and policies will be returned to sender and no credits will be issued.

Hassle-Free Apparel Size Exchange Policy:
For APPAREL exchanges within 15 days of purchase: (You have purchased an apparel item and want to EXCHANGE it for a DIFFERENT SIZE of the SAME item.) The Helmet Center will gladly exchange your item for the correct size, and ship it back to you at no cost. Request an RMA within 15 days of purchase, and have the product back to The Helmet Center within 10 business days of the RMA issue date. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without an RMA number. Packages sent to us without a valid RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused. To obtain an RMA, please call Customer Service at 1-866-NEW-HELMET, or email us at ContactUs@thehelmetcenter.com. Product must be in original, new, unused, unworn condition and must include all original undamaged packaging and instructions, as well as all tags, protective covers, and other items that may have been attached to the merchandise. Failure to follow these instructions may result in additional charges and/or refusal of your exchange. Understand we cannot refund you for shipping costs for purchasing the original item, and it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the shipping of the returned item back to The Helmet Center. We are not responsible for goods we received that are damaged. These damaged goods become the property of the buyer if not shipped properly, and you may be charged to send them back. Exchanges sent COD will be refused. Hassle-Free apparel exchange is only available in the 48 Continental United States. Free shipping for international exchanges including APO/FPO addresses does not apply. Our no-hassle exchange policy does not include closeout items. We are not responsible for personal items left in returned or exchanged merchandise. This policy applies only to exchanges for SIZE and is limited to one exchange. For additional size exchanges, customer is responsible for all shipping of all items to and from TheHelmetCenter.com and its providers. If you bought a helmet, and now want to return it for boots, you will be subject to the usual exchange policy. Only the first size exchange is free. Helmets, Jackets, Pants, Suits, Gloves, Boots, Vests and Protective Gear are considered apparel.

Exchange Policy:
For exchanges within 15 days of purchase: (You have purchased an item and want to EXCHANGE it for a DIFFERENT item.) The Helmet Center will gladly exchange your item for a different item. Any balance due to price difference will be held as in-store credit. Upon receipt and inspection of goods for exchanges, TheHelmetCenter.com will ship the new items back to the customer. Customer is responsible for shipping of new items back to them. Additionally, our exchange policy does not include closeout items, or electrical parts. We are not responsible for personal items left in exchanged merchandise.

Return Policy:
For returns within 15 days of purchase: (You have purchased an item and want to RETURN it.) The Helmet Center will gladly accept your item for return. Request an RMA within 15 days of purchase, and have the product back to The Helmet Center within 10 business days of the RMA issue date. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without an RMA number. Packages sent to us without a valid RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused. To obtain an RMA, please call Customer Service at 623-444-4789, or email us at ContactUs@thehelmetcenter.com. Product must be in original, new, unused, unworn condition and must include all original undamaged packaging and instructions, as well as all tags, protective covers, and other items that may have been attached to the merchandise. Failure to follow these instructions may result in additional charges and/or refusal of your return. Understand we cannot refund you for shipping costs for purchasing the original item, and it is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the shipping of the returned item back to The Helmet Center.  We are not responsible for goods we received that are damaged. These damaged goods become the property of the buyer if not shipped properly, and you may be charged to send them back. Returns sent COD will be refused. Upon receipt and inspection of goods for return, TheHelmetCenter.com will issue the appropriate credit. Additionally, our return policy does not include closeout items or electrical parts. We are not responsible for personal items left in returned merchandise.

Defective Merchandise:
Any defective merchandise is warranted by the manufacturer, not by TheHelmetCenter.com. Shipping charges on defective merchandise are not refundable. Returns are subject to approval by the manufacturer.

 

PRICE MATCHING

Print Advertisement Match Requests:
Please submit your price match request to our sales department via email at ContactUs@TheHelmetCenter.com. We are unable to honor requests for price matching over the phone. Please list the magazine advertisement, or catalog page for verification. Once we have the advertisment's pricing information, we can verify the price, and check availability. We will then email, or call you back with the appropriate answer regarding the price match. Items must be advertised in a local or national magazine, or catalog by an authorized dealer. Advertised items must be NEW and IN STOCK. We will not price match on closeout, discontinued, used, or refurbished items.
 
Internet Price Match Requests
Please submit your price match request to our sales department via email at ContactUs@TheHelmetCenter.com. We are unable to honor requests for price matching over the phone. Once we have the website's pricing information, we can verify the price, and check availability. We will then email, or call you back with the appropriate answer regarding the price match. We cannot guarantee that all prices in all cases will be matched. Note: Not all websites are authorized dealers, and some do not always abide by the Minimum Advertised Pricing policies that some manufacturers require us to follow. Several manufacturers will not honor warranty issues if items were bought on Amazon, or Ebay. We will not price match on closeout, discontinued, used, or refurbished items.
 
Restrictions for Price Match Requests:
Price match cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. Advertisements must be current - non-current websites, print ads or catalogs will not be accepted. Verbal and emailed price quotes will not be matched - Price must be clearly posted in a print ad, catalog or on an online store by an authorized dealer. Price match does not apply to combined items, package deals or a cumulative order total. Product must be a current model - We will not price match on closeout, discontinued, used, or refurbished items. We will not price match with online auctions, foreign competitors, or on previously sold merchandise. We reserve the right to accept or deny any price match.
