About The Helmet Center

The Helmet Center was started by Dave and Tony, two local riding enthusiasts back in 2006 in a small shop at 35th Ave and Union Hills in Phoenix. From that small store, it didn’t take us long to establish ourselves as the go-to place for helmets and gear here in the Valley of the Sun. Our focus was always on safety, and customer service. We diligently fitted every customer that walked in the door, to ensure they had the proper size, shape, and features they needed for their most important piece of safety gear.

We then began to sell apparel and parts, with the same enthusiasm and expertise as we did our helmets, and opened up our first small service bay in the back of the store. In 2009, we opened a second store to serve the north valley. In 2017, we changed plans, and merged the two stores into one larger store, at 43rd Ave and Union Hills offering it all under one roof. We added more options for helmets and apparel, more maintenance items and hard parts, and added on to our service department, going from one small space to a multi-bay setup.

Our goal has always been to be the best bike shop in Phoenix! We are still focused on offering outstanding customer service, properly fitted gear, and quality and affordable motorcycle, ATV, and UTV service to the local community. We continue to support our local law enforcement agencies, active and retired military, and many charities and causes across the Valley.

We know that in today’s world, buying things online can be as easy as one click, but we feel there is still a place for a locally owned motorcycle shop, to make sure you have the gear you need, when you need it, and that can only be done properly, in a local store. Whether it’s the Helmet Center, or one of our competitors, we would appreciate you shopping local, and supporting local jobs, the local economy, and the local companies that support the local riding community.
